Carefree Office

Established in January 2007, the newest VCL office is located in Carefree, Arizona. The Carefree office conducts a Tuesday morning ladies SALT small group. Once a month, this office offers a one-week intensive conference for those desiring life-change or training to help others. Marriage, Parenting and Financial seminars are scheduled on Saturdays throughout the year. Also personal mentoring sessions are available during weekdays. All services are provided free of charge, with the exception of the cost of materials. Donations are gratefully received because your generosity makes it possible to continue meeting the needs of those in our community.

Carefree, Arizona enjoys glorious sunshine most of the year and is only a few miles northeast of Phoenix. You will love the exceptional rock formations, small town ambience, upscale galleries and shops, vibrant sunsets, and star studded night sky.

Tucked away in the center of downtown is Sundial Circle where one of the largest sundials in the western hemisphere stands. This giant stands 35 feet tall with a gnomon, the part that creates the shadow that stretches 75 feet, pointing toward the North Star.

Down the street, you will enjoy El Pedregal Festival Marketplace. This unique mall is set amongst the famed boulders that loom 250 feet above. An eclectic combination of apparel shops, restaurants, galleries and the Heard Museum North make a full day excursion a delightful possibility here. While in the area, plan to tour the Arizona home and architectural school, Taliesin West, of the famed American architect Frank Lloyd Wright.
