Dr. Ray L’Amoreaux, CEO and President of Victorious Christian Living International
Ray L’Amoreaux is an ordained minister and pastored in Buckeye, AZ for several years. In January 2004, Ray became the President/CEO of Victorious Christian Living International and made the ministry accessible to people around the world by focusing on creating an online presence.
Ray has a Bachelors degree in Practical Ministry and a Doctorate degree in Biblical Counseling.
Dr. Sheryl Nobley, Director of Human Resources and Institute Chancellor
Sheryl Nobley joined the Victorious Christian Living International staff in 1999, leaving an accomplished career in teaching and coaching at the collegiate level. Sheryl has a Bachelors degree in Education from the University of Arizona, a Doctorate degree in Biblical Counseling, and is also a certified Life Coach.
Along with speaking at women’s retreats, she co-authored the Discipleship-God’s Clarion Call curriculum, Sheryl has traveled throughout the United States, Africa, Europe, Japan and México teaching, training and counseling pastors and leaders. At VCLi she serves as Director of Human Resources and oversees the major fundraising events.
Dr. Laurie Southwick, Director of Training
Laurie Southwick joined the Victorious Christian Living International staff in 1987 and currently serves as the Director of Training. Laurie has been a pastor’s wife since 1978 and a church retreat speaker for over 25 years. She has traveled around the United States, as well as Africa, India, Poland and Mexico facilitating discipleship training conferences.
Laurie has co-authored the curriculum Discipleship – God’s Clarion Call. Laurie has a Doctorate degree in Biblical Counseling. She also serves alongside her husband in his ministry called Solitude Place.
Katy Watkins, Director of the Biblical Counselors Network and Web Master
Katy Watkins joined Victorious Christian Living International in 2021. She brings over 20 years of Desktop Publishing, Web Design, and Knowledge Management experience in the areas of technology, leadership, counseling, coaching, and training.
Katy has a Master’s degree in Biblical Counseling. She is the Director of our Biblical Counselors Network.
Kathy Swapp, Counselor and Faculty Trainer
Kathy Swapp joined the VCLI staff in 2019. She has earned her Masters Degree in Biblical Counseling.
Kathy also has an Associates Degree in Applied Sciences from Phoenix College and recently retired from a 30-year Dental Hygiene career prior to joining Victorious Christian Living Institute.
Ruthjane Willow, VCLi Traveling Ambassador
Ruthjane Willow joined the VCLI staff in 2019. She is a retired elementary school teacher, reading specialist, and instructional coach in public schools. Ruthjane has a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary and Special Education and a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership. She received her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Biblical Counseling. Jorge and Paola Cruz, US Latin Directors
A través de los años Dios me ha permitido poder servirle como pastor ayudante y pastor principal. También como misionero, maestro, en cárceles, evangelista, etc. Durante todo este tiempo he podido dar consejería a diferentes personas, pero especialmente en los temas financieros debido a mi previa experiencia como empresario, en temas de adicciones por temas personales, en temas de perdida de algún familiar y por su puesto en temas matrimoniales y de paternidad. Cathy McKay, Counselor & Faculty Trainer
Cathy is an ordained minister and began working with Victorious Christian Living International in 2002. Cathy’s main focus at VCLi is counseling and working with students enrolled in the VCL Institute. Additionally, Cathy has spoken at numerous women’s retreats and also worked with YWAM, where she had the joy of traveling to many places with her family to minister to the unreached. In 2008, Cathy lost her husband of 29 years to cancer. She resides in Washington State near her children and grandchildren. Cathy has a Master’s degree in Biblical Counseling and Adult Education and Training from the University of Phoenix. She has spent many years working in human resources and adult education.
Dr. Sue L’Amoreaux, Director of Sales and Marketing
Sue L’Amoreaux is on staff at Victorious Christian Living International and currently serves as the Director of Sales and Marketing. Sue is an ordained minister and holds a Doctorate degree in Biblical Counseling.
She and Ray have been married for over 40 years and have 4 daughters and many grandchildren.
Dianne Kazenski, Director of Biblical Counseling
Dianne Kazenski joined the staff of Victorious Christian Living International in 1994, following a 17-year career as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Illinois, a diploma in Nuclear Medicine Technology, and a Masters degree in Biblical Counseling.
She and her husband, Larry, were on staff at Victorious Christian Living International’s Guatemala office in 1996 and 1997. She currently serves as Director of Biblical Counseling and oversees Material Sales. She also tutors students who are learning English as a second language.
Sandra Tarlen, Biblical Counselor
Sandra Tarlen came to VCLi in 1982 and it changed her life forever! She joined Victorious Christian Living International staff in 1994. Sandra has a Masters in Biblical Counseling and has served in the past as the VCLi Prison Director for 11 years.
She has traveled extensively for the ministry teaching SALT and sharing her testimony on forgiveness in many different venues in the USA and internationally.
Dr. Fred Paine, Biblical Counselor and Master Trainer
Fred Paine is an ordained minister and pastored in Texas for 12 years before joining the Victorious Christian Living International staff in 1999. He and his wife, Valerie, have traveled and taught extensively for the ministry. He is a master trainer in the Victorious Christian Life Institute.
Fred has a Bachelors and Masters degree from Texas A & M in Biology and a Doctorate degree in Biblical Counseling. He also trains people how to get out of debt, and then build and keep wealth.
Dr. Valerie Paine, Social Media and Creative Director
Valerie Paine is an ordained minister and joined the Victorious Christian Living International staff in 1999. She currently serves as the Director of Material Development. Valerie is a published author and was instrumental in the writing of SALT (Seven Areas of Life Training), Achieve Communication Workshop, e-Bible 101 and Kids SALT.
Valerie has a Bachelors degree in Education and a Doctorate degree in Biblical Counseling. She and her husband, Fred, have traveled and taught extensively for the ministry. They have hosted online radio and TV shows and webinars with listeners from around the world.
Dr. Rafael Garzaro, Director of VCLi Guatemala
Rafael Garzaro is an ordained pastor at Iglesia Vida Real in Guatemala and worked several years in their counseling department and men’s ministry. He and his wife, Waleska, served for several years with Marriage Ministries International in Guatemala and El Shaddai Church’s marriage ministry. Rafael earned his BS as Information Systems Engineer from Universidad Francisco Marroquín and doctorate in Biblical Counseling from VCL Institute.
Rafael joined VCLi in 2001 and provides counseling, training and teaching in Guatemala, Cuba, Perú, Mexico, El Salvador and the USA. He was instrumental in translating much of the VCLi materials into Spanish.
Dr. Waleska Garzaro, Co-Director of VCLi Guatemala
Waleska Garzaro is an ordained pastor at Iglesia Vida Real and worked several years in their counseling department ministering to women. She and her husband, Rafael, served for several years with Marriage Ministries International in Guatemala and El Shaddai Church’s marriage ministry. Waleska earned her BS in Computer Science from Universidad Del Valle de Guatemala, her BA in Theology from Universidad Panamericana, and her doctorate in Biblical Counseling from VCL Institute.
Waleska joined VCLi in 2001 and provides counseling, training and teaching in Guatemala, Cuba, Perú, Mexico, El Salvador and the USA.
Dr. Luis Guiterrez , Director of VCLi Cuba
Luis was born again on March 28, 1990 in Iglesia El Shaddai, Guatemala. There he served for 5 years in the Men’s Ministry, and for 2 years at ‘La Mision’, a drug-addicted restoration ministry. In 1993, he made his first missionary trip to Cuba where he met Ivonne. In 1996, he began his full-time training with a vision for starting VCL Cuba. In 2000, VCL Cuba began operations. Luis earned his BS in Theology and the doctorate in biblical discipleship from VCL Institute in 2015. Luis has taught and discipled in Guatemala, Florida, Houston, TX and Cuba.
Dr. Ivonne Chao, Co-Director of VCLi Cuba
Ivonne gave her life to Christ in 1990 at the Open Bible Church in Rancho Boyeros, Havana City. There she began her studies in Theology at Theological Institute by Extension and was part of the worship team. In 1994, she married Luis and traveled to Guatemala to start with Luis. In 2000, she began to disciple and teach. In 2015, she received her BS in Theology and a doctorate in biblical discipleship at the VCL Institute. Ivonne has taught in Guatemala, Florida, Houston, TX and Cuba.
Luis and Ivonne are currently the directors of VCL Cuba.
